Boca's Spicy Chik'n is better baked

I reviewed the Spicy Chik'n last week after microwaving it. I was skeptical about microwaving a breaded food item, but the instructions on the box said I could, so I gave it a try. The box was technically right, but they should definitely put a "not recommended" warning on the box. Gardenburger does this with its alt-chicken items, and it's a good idea, because the chik'n is much better baked in the toaster oven.
I originally gave the Spicy Chik'n a 3/5 rating, and while toasting did make the sandwich more palatable, I don't think it improved the overall rating. The patty had much better texture, but it didn't change the taste (or lack thereof) of the patty. The breading still overpowers any taste the alt-chicken substance may or may not have, and the patty is super thin, so it's almost 20% breading anyway. You might as well just eat toasted breading.
