MorningStar's Buffalo Wings

MorningStar continues their legacy of putting out the best tasting alt-meat products with their Buffalo Wings. Like with most (not all) breaded alt-chicken products on the market, they taste a heck-of-a lot like real chicken nuggets.
I'm usually not a fan of breaded buffalo items, but these are quite good. The buffalo sauce/spices pack a little punch, so you might need a palette cleanser handy when you're done. And the texture is dead on. I toasted six nuggets in the toaster oven for about 16 minutes, and they turned out perfect.
If I had to rate the Buffalo Wings based on taste and texture, I'd give them five stars, but while I was putting the box back in the freezer, I glanced at the nutritional chart.
Alt-meat products are almost always very high in sodium. The usual range is about 250-450 mg per serving. The Buffalo Wings, however, have 790 mg! And the serving size is only five nuggets. Most people (like myself) are probably going to have six nuggets, which means the sodium count is almost 1000 mg!

Because of the super high sodium levels, I had to deduct one star from the rating. If you're on a low sodium diet, you're probably not going to be able to eat a lot of alt-foods. But even those of us not on a low-sodium diet should probably shy away from having these very often despite their tastiness.
