Lightlife's Smart Deli Bologna

It's been a long time since I've had bologna. I was probably in elementary school the last time I had to peel the hard plastic top back from the yellow backing of an Oscar Meyer bologna package. From what I recollect, however, the Smart Deli Bologna alt-deli slices are dead on. They taste just like bologna, and they even look better than normal bologna. They have a nice understated "meat" color rather than the weird pinkish hue of "the mystery meat" that is traditional bologna.

I hesitate to give these alt-slices five stars, because, well, they taste like bologna. So I would hesitate to get these unless they were on sale. But if you dig bologna, don't hesitate to pick up a pack the next time you're at the supermarket.

I totally agree with your review. I just enjoyed a great sandwich with these bologna slices, some great Miso Mayo (I highly recommend this condiment) and sliced tomatoes!

I AGREE, TASTES JUST LIKE BOLOGNA. EVEN BETTER, BECAUSE ITS NOT THE REAL THING AND YOU DONT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR EATING.
