Science is not inherently bad, but real science must include constantly retesting what we think we know. Settled science is a concept much loved by politicians but is often a pipe dream. Science expands and evolves. We can never know everything.

Sure TM we real scientists retest Maxwell laws and quantum physics every time you press a key on your computer. Not to mention classical mechanics. Because we, the real scientists, are always afraid that the technology is only a pipe dream, which we will discover after a couple of 100s years.
